Use the contact on your existing agreement
Find the lender or servicer identified in your loan documents or a verified account statement. This page does not display account balances or payment histories. Call or visit your O R Financial Services location for help with an account.
Prepare a specific conversation
Write down the next due date, the amount due, what you can currently pay and when you expect the situation to change. Ask which options actually exist for your agreement. Do not assume that an extension, smaller payment or pause is available until the servicer confirms it.
Keep a dated note of the conversation. Ask how a proposed change affects the total cost, later payments and the status of the account. Request the agreement in writing and retain copies.
Separate a payment problem from a dispute
A payment you cannot afford and a charge you believe is incorrect may require different questions. For an unexplained charge, request an itemized record. For a payment arrangement, request the changed schedule and its conditions. This organization helps you explain the issue clearly.
Use the appropriate official channel
The Texas OCCC provides consumer assistance and complaint information for businesses within its remit. Its information explains the importance of attempting to resolve a concern with the business and documenting what happened. Agency assistance is not a guarantee of a particular outcome or a substitute for personal legal advice.
Keep sensitive information out of public messages
Use a verified channel when providing account information. Do not post identity documents, full account numbers or private financial records in public reviews or social-media replies. This website does not accept such documents.
